I definitely had a rough month for September as far as the amount of books I read, but definitely some great reads!

-The Violence by Delilah Dawson⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I found this book one day at Barnes in a small section talking about female revenge (definitely up my alley). I had read a lot of the books on that table and this one looked so pretty. When I saw that it was basically a apocalypse style book where this sickness called the violence causes people to turn on others and kill them, I knew I had to buy it. In the back of the book it does mention the FMC goes through a wrestling match….i didn’t think they meant literally. But overall I enjoyed the book. I think at this point I’m running out of end of the world books so it was a great one to check off the list.

-When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought this book back in January 2024 when it first came out. Like it wasn’t even through a publisher. I think the reason why I pushed off reading it was because I spent most of the year reading the Throne of Glass series and I’m still reading Harry Potter, and I don’t like to read too much fantasy all at once then go into a book slump. I will definitely read the 2nd book that comes out next year because I got so many questions…

-Corrupt by Penelope Douglas⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had so many books I needed to read in October so I decided to get a head start at the end of September with the Devil’s Night series. I honestly love Penelope Douglas. I love how the books can be so unrealistic and the things that happen in her books literally make me giggle out loud! When reading Corrupt and it was about basketball players, I knew it wouldn’t be my favorite but I liked them enough to keep going.

-Hideaway by Penelope Douglas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The book started off really slow. Like it began to drag a bit. But I loved the MCM Kai. He was becoming my favorite of the four horsemen. I didn’t care for Banks. The internet has also collectively agreed that Damon pretty much drowned out the relationship between Kai and

Banks with his issues.
