what we ordered:

portobello toast 🍄 (9/10)

super soft, sweet, fluffy french toast with the savoury mushrooms rlly wow-ed me the moment i took my first mouth. super unique with the truffle cream cheese and yuzu apple which added a sweet touch but it wasn’t too overpowering,, the mixture of all the ingredients were a perfect sweet and savoury item

woodfired chicken 🍗 (8.5/10)

super soft, tender and juicy chicken with the most amazing tomato mash?!??! was so stunned by how good the tomato mash was i scraped the plate for it,, even scraped my younger sister’s plate. so smooth, creamy and savoury. spring onions was cooked well, slightly crunchy and seasoned perfectly,, just a tiny bit oily

crispy brussel sprouts 🌱 (8/10)

safe to say the best brussel sprouts i had in my life,, so interesting with the sauce,, it was slightly charred, super crispy and the sauce was slightly sour which went rlly well with the brussels

duck croquettes 🥔 (9/10)

WOW just WOW, super crispy with the mushy duck filling inside that’s so savoury. cant even describe how good this was

potato mille feuille 🥔 (6.5/10)

really interesting dish i’ve never seen in any other cafes before,, thinly sliced potato layered above each other and it was slightly crispy but by itself it was quite plain. wasn’t the biggest fan of the sauce,, slightly tangy but quite unique and worth a try!

granny apple tart 🥧 (6/10)

it was kinda small and disappointing and the tart wasn’t even warmed (not sure whether it was meant to be served like this though but i feel like it will be better served warm) the best part was the crust at the side and the apple had a lowkey weird texture. vanilla ice cream was normal

will i come back again?

YES but likely not in the near future,, cause of its price LOL. really really worth a try especially their mains cause i think they do their mains REALLY REALLY well and get the brussel sprouts and duck croquettes!! rlly highly recommend to visit!! atmosphere is rlly good as well but do reserve if u wna come cause it isn’t the biggest and i think it’s still q popular
