Must-Visit Local Soya Beancurd Hideout in Taipei

Soya beancurd is very local Taiwanese delicacy, so when you’re visiting Taiwan, you definitely need to have this on your list! 👀 But what makes this store that I’m going to recommend stand out is the decor and location of the store. Situated in a very local location, enjoying a humble bowl of beancurd with toppings that are available that day, in a local type of stand.

🍧 Beancurd with fixed toppings (雲上花)

💲NTD $60 (~SGD $2.65)

With only one beancurd item on the menu, the bowl comes with fixed toppings that includes taro balls, peanuts and red bean. You can choose whether you want it hot or cold too.

What I love is the beancurd — so so soft. Eating cold beancurd in summer weather is really a need. 100/100 recommend visiting this for a legit bowl. 💯

💭 Just a note, this store is not located in Taipei city itself, but rather in New Taipei City in a district called Neihu District, and the journey from central Taipei city may take about 30 minutes - much nearer if you’re coming from Taipei 101 area, so just keep in mind if you’re planning your itinerary ~ But trust me, the vibes of the store, in a local neighbourhood makes it worth a visit, experiencing the true blue local life~ 👍🏻
