Rustic Coffee Bar in Singapore

A cozy little space, that for a moment, I thought I was in a coffeehouse in Kyoto drinking coffee.

The distressed table tops and walls are so chic. yes.

The space is GORGEOUS. However as cozy it is look, it might get a little uncomfortable if you’re not seated at the bigger table as the benches are made of wood without any cushion, so just a note!

Coffee wise, they hit right on the spot. You can choose your beans if you are going for filter coffee like I did, so you can be certain the notes of the coffee is what you’re going for!

Food wise they have a good selection of cakes, pastries and even sandwiches if you’re looking for a fuller option. Having came here a couple of times, I tried three other items which I haven’t got the chance yet.

The black sesame friand, was very nutty and the fragrance and taste of the black sesame was strong. The exterior was more towards the crusty side but the interior, oh my, moist, crumbly, sweet. The first bite was sweet and aromatic but you get a little of the bitter after a few bites. NICE!

The blueberry galette on the other hand was AMAZING. Imagine buttery and crumbly crust on the outside but soaked in blueberries that are not too sweet on the inside. ANOTHER ONE PLEASE.

Lastly the plum cake, was decent! I kinda wish there were more plum pieces on the top, since the bottom was just plain cake. That saying, the cake was still moist, but more plum pieces would have been better.

The friendly staff is another plus point for your visit. Overall - highly recommended!
