Salted Caramel Syrup ✨

☕️ combine 3/4 cup white sugar and 3/4 cup water

☕️ once the sugar is completely dissolved allow the mixture to bubble and turn a golden caramel color - this should take 15-20 minutes

☕️ once the syrup reaches the golden caramel color remove off of the heat IMMEDIATELY ( or it will burn I know from personal experience 😭)

☕️ add in 3/4 cup hot water and mix ( if the sugar seizes add in a little bit extra hot water)

☕️ add in 1 tbsp vanilla extract and 1/4 tsp salt

☕️ will stay good in the fridge for at least 3 weeks!
