DATES NIGHT IDEA : WATER LANTERN FESTIVAL ✨

My favorite Disney movie of all time is tangled so when I saw that the water lantern festival was coming back to my city I knew we had to go!

We originally went back in 2019 when it first came around and had such an amazing time. It’s almost like a magical experience that you get to share with not only your partner but all the people who show up the the event.

They give you a lot with everything you need for your lantern (I recommend extra markers though since you only get one) and then you get to spend the evening decorating them. We brought food and also did a picnic while we waited for sunset.

Once it gets close to being dark they invite anyone who wants to share what their lantern is about onto the stage to share their stories. It’s amazing to hear all the heartfelt stories people share and really creates a unique atmosphere at this event.

Then you finally get to launch the lanterns and trust me pictures do it no justice! It’s something you have to experience! It’s so fun watching your lantern sail off and seeing everyone else’s designs floating out there.

Don’t worry they clean all of it up once the event is over since one of their main causes is sustainability!
