junk journaling 🐢

among other crafts my tiktok fyp is FILLED with junk journaling. every thing about this type of journaling seems so fun and inviting unlike the type i’ve done previously. i used to write out all my feelings and experiences which were mostly negative so i never felt differently after. i always looked at journals like they were little books of negativity because that’s what they were for me. now i can do this and find the little joys of life while also having fun with creativity. my memories can be captured physically on page rather than digitally in my camera roll. i can flip through anytime as a reminder that a bad day isn’t a bad life. i will be keeping a “negative” journal though so i can still have an outlet but it won’t be the only thing i have. i need an outlet but i need joyful things more. i’m so excited to gather everything and begin this lifelong journey of documenting the beautiful moments in life :).
