🕊️ Our Family Ofrenda 💀

As a Mexican woman married to a gringo, raising a biracial child, it’s super important to me to pass on my culture’s traditions. What I wasn’t expecting was how fervently my daughter would latch on to Día de Muertos, especially the movie Coco. We watch it upwards of 15 times a week. She is obsessed. So it made sense that we would not only participate in the ofrenda at my school, but have one at home as well. I purchased most of my items on Amazon or at H‑E‑B. My favorite are the small 2x3 photo frames. We plan to include more items as we approach the official start date for Día de Muertos, but I like how it looks so far.
