❤️Tips for wearing Red Makeup this CNY 🥰

With CNY just around the corner, I thought this would be the perfect post for all my girls out there who are thinking of doing red makeup for the occasion!

Red makeup can be really intimidating, especially if you normally do light makeup looks and have never tried too much colour all at once!

⭐️TIPS:

1️⃣When using a red blush, use one with an easily blendable formula so you can sheer the intensity of the red colour out

2️⃣By using a red blush with some glitter pigments, some attention is drawn away from the red colour of the blush itself and onto the sparkles on your face, trust me!💁🏻‍♀️ It’s a lot more forgiving!

3️⃣If red lips are too intense for your face, try using a nude base and then blending the red lip shade outwards from the center, almost achieving a Korean gradient lip look, but really more to sheer it out on a lighter colour to make the red a lighter, more natural shade of red❤️

If this is still too much for you, consider just incorporating either a red blush or a red lip combi into your natural makeup looks and it’ll still elevate it!! 🥰❤️ Baby steps!
