Capri is the gorgeous island on the Amalfi Coast, known for it ritzy shopping, stunning cliffsides, and great cuisine. Luckily, you don't have to spend a whole night there to get to know the island. Check out everything you should do on your day trip to Capri Island, Italy.

🚤 Getting There: Getting to Capri is easy, so long as you're already on the coast, just grab a ferry from one of the Amalfi Coast towns. Tip: Be sure to book in advance via Ferry Hopper or at the local ferry port - the Capri ferries fill up especially fast. And don't forget to book your roundtrip ticket as the last ferry leaves the island at 6PM.

🌳Giardini di Augusto: Once you get to Capri Town, head to the Giardini di Augusto, which are gorgeous gardens overlooking the cliffsides of Capri. The entrance fee here is only €1 and you'll be in awe of the sights you can see.

🛍️Carthusia: Spend some time doing the most popular activity on Capri - shopping! My favorite store was Carthusia, an old perfumery located near the Giardini di Agosto selling the perfect souvenirs.

🌊Da Luigi Ai Faraglioni: Once you're all shopped out (and likely burning hot, especially in summer), head over the Faraglioni, a massive rock jutting out of the water just off of Capri, for lunch and an afternoon in the sun.

🥪 salumeria da aldo: End your day by grabbing a sandwich from Salumeria da Aldo before taking your ferry back to the mainland.
