My problem with thirst traps🧏🏼‍♀️

Okay lets get real here. First I want to say this is not a post of judgement, I too have fallen victim to posting thirst traps before. So this is coming from a place of love and understanding. LADIES!!! We are so much better than showing our ass and boobs for attention and likes. You can be proud of your body without making it your entire personality. I hate when I go to follow a pretty girl and all of her pics are thirst traps. I just think that we are so much bigger than that! We are more than our bodies!! Plus the type of attention that we receive from that is never good. You run into creeps or shitty guys who only want you for your body. It also effects how men respect you as well. If your body is on display constantly they automatically treat you like a slut. And again lets get real here, I know we say “I post it for me”. But be honest with yourself if those type of pictures were truly for yourself and not for a certain type of attention or audience they would’ve remained in your phone. But we say that to make ourselves feel better for the desperate need of validation on our bodies. But WE ARE MORE THAN OUR BODIES! We are smart, talented, beautiful, and caring human beings. I noticed the moment that I stopped posting my body so much and wearing revealing clothes, I attracted better guys and better friends. My views has gone down since I started posting my actual personality but I literally dont even care. I realized that I would rather be liked for who I really am and not my body or my looks period.
