MY TOP SUSHI ROLL PLACES

i absolutely love sushi rolls and am always finding new places to try! here’s my top 5 places i’ve tried and loved:)

1. sushi tei

my ultimate top fav place, they have so many different kinds of rolls. they’re always so fresh and yums. i’ve tried most of them and they don’t disappoint😆 i actly can’t decide if my fav is the dragon roll (avocado) or the mentai kani or the aburi salmon roll cus they’re all so good hdjsjs.

other than sushi rolls, they also have lots of other mains that taste good too.

2. the sushi bar

this place is so underrated, i’ve never seen many people recommend this place. their mentai roll was so good, it got me wanting to eat sushi rolls again the next day. their salmon is super fresh, even if it wasn’t aburied (tried their raw salmon donburi too)

another one of my fav dishes from them is their wafu spaghetti (mentaiko spaghetti), the taste of it is pretty light and not as jelak as compared to most mentaiko pastas out there

3. kazoku

i’ve been ordering from this shop since 2021, their special maki rolls always slap it’s sooo good esp their mentaiko rolls. other than their mentaiko rolls, i’ve also tried their spicy salmon roll and cheese roll, although it’s not rly to my liking, it was still pretty good (the spicy salmon roll is super spicy tho).

4. standing sushi bar

i just tried this place today and i’m alr adding this to this list. i tried the rockstar maki, and IT WAS SO GOOD. they were generous w the mentaiko and although the inside was just cheese, the cheese was fried and it kinda tasted like how fried prawn would taste like. because i was alone, so i could only try one roll, would def come back to try more tho. alsoo on mondays and thursdays, they have $3.90 sashimis! (5 slices)

they have rly unique rolls that taste nice. imo they don’t taste like your usual japanese rolls, i feel like they taste more american style
