High Protein Strawberry Banana Smoothie
This is one of my go to smoothies after a workout or just for a snack throughout the day. This is a single serve smoothie so this will only make just enough for 1! It’s high protein so it will help reach your protein goals and it tastes delicious! I’ve added chia seeds for extra nutritious fiber and almond butter for healthy fats. If you want to make it thicker feel free to add a cup of ice before blending.
Ingredients
2/3 cup almond milk
1/2 frozen banana
Handful of frozen strawberries
1 scoop of vanilla whey protein
1 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter or Pbfit
1/2 tbsp chia seeds
Optional, Greek yogurt for glass
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
2. Blend for about 30 seconds to a minute.
3. Smear a little Greek yogurt on the sides of glass.
4. Pour your smoothie into the glass.
