First compost bin

This is my first time making a compost bin, I’m preparing it for the garden I plan to start in the next few months 🌱

Things I’ve been adding to it :

🌱 yard scraps (leaves, twigs)

🌱added a few layers of cardboard

🌱kitchen scraps such as egg shells, orange peels, coffee grounds and filters, potato skin, mango skin,old green beans, onion scraps, and banana peels amongst other random things.

🌱 and adding layers of soil.

🌱 we also have a cow and plan on adding the manure to the bin eventually (will definitely need a bigger bin to keep all of this in)

Any pointers or tips on composting/starting up a garden ?! 🫶🏼🌱
