DON’T ACCEPT THESE PR PACKAGES ❌🙅‍♀️

When you first start pitching to brands and receiving PR packages, it can be super exciting and make you feel like you have to say yes to every opportunity given to you…

Unfortunately, it’s probably not the best idea to say yes to every single package opportunity you’re given. Here’s when I say NO to PR:

1. I won’t actually use the product: this is a big mistake I made at the beginning of my journey. I was saying yes to every PR package and was suddenly overwhelmed by the amount of random stuff. I was hoarding that I would never use. It’s a brand new product that would be useful in your life, I would 100% take the PR!! Just be mindful because accepting every offer can lead to a lot of waste and unneeded items.

2. The email that was sent to me or the brand in general seems like a scam: if you’re just starting out more than likely, going to get a couple of scam emails from posing brands asking you if you want to be on their PR list, get a paid sponsorship, etc. It’s important to be able to notice when something is a scam or not as you do, share your address with these brands in order to get the packages. Make sure you research the brand if you’ve never heard of it and be careful!!
