Date nights at home! 🫕

My husband doesn’t have to ask me twice if I’d like to go out and grab dinner. If you have kids you know it can be hard to stop what your doing and head to your favorite restaurant.

We were gifted a hand me down fondue pot and we both thought this would collect dust. But in fact we use it and it makes for a pretty simple and fun dinner.

The first step is prep! 🔪

We started with a simple veggie tray with some dip! 🫑🌶️🥒

For our protein we chose steak & shrimp 🥩🍤 Cut the steak in small pieces so they don’t take long to cook.

We cook the meat in a vegetable broth. You can add potatoes, onions, and mushrooms to this. 🥔 🧅 🍄

I would suggest cooking these veggies and broth on the stove first while you’re prepping everything else so they get soft.

Have a separate plate to keep raw meat and cooked meat separated.

The best part is the chocolate! 🍫 😋🤎

You can choose any chocolate you like. We love dark chocolate with sea salt! The possibilities are endless for the chocolate dippers! You can’t go wrong with strawberries, bananas, pretzels and marshmallows!
