Day 1:

🏨 Checked in at Q Villa Hoi A which is managed by a family and they are really helpful and always ready to assist.

📍 Walk around ancient town (so many leather goods, especially custom made sandals which are super comfortable at a very reasonable price)

📍 Visited Tan Ky, National Heritage House

📍 Hoai River with release lantern. I got my ticket on the spot for 25k dong / person excluding the release lantern. Recommend to get tickets from klook as package includes all. Do go during sunset for the best experience. Do prepare some tips 💰

📍 Dinner at Morning Glory. We ordered Crispy Egg Noodle & Duck Leg for 205k dong and White rose dumplings for 85k dong (must try). Slightly pricey as compared to other shops in town but worth it 💯

📍 Night Market

Day 2:

📍 Coconut Farm Tour. Got our tickets from klook at RM17 / person and selected the 9am slot. About an hour ride with performances and photography sessions. Overall, good experience. Do prepare some tips 💰

📍 Uncle Huan Coffee. Came here for their famous art coffee and it did not disappoint! Coffee is good and they have excellent service too. A good place to chill and enjoy the bustling street of Hoi An.

📍 Lunch at Cao Lau Khang Gian Xanh. To try out Hoi An’s signature dish, Cao Lau which consists of thick rice noodles, pieces of barbecue pork and vegetables.

Day 3:

🏨 Checked in Glomad Hostel Danang. RM319 for 4 days 3 nights with breakfast included. Modern design with helpful staffs. Short walking distance to My Khe Beach. However, you will need to grab to go to the riverside of the city. Grab can cost from RM10-18 each trip.

📍 Walk around My Khe Beach 🏖️

📍 Dinner near hotel. Nha Bep Xua Restaurant. Recommend this place as prices are reasonable and food was good too!

Day 4:

📍 Ba Na Hills. A place more on scenery, restaurants and mini games (like fun fair). Local driver got us there with a price of 700k dong for 2 ways. If you like taking pictures, then this is the place for you. Bought our tickets from klook for RM167 / person.

Highlight of the place was the Golden Hands Bridge. Unfortunately, Alpine Coaster was closed for maintenance 🥲 hence, there wasn’t much to do. We paid extra 100k dong / person at the wine cellar pit stop for wine tasting and a mini tour of the wine cellar. Overall, it was okay. Most of the people spent whole day in Ba Na Hills. However, we spent only 3 hours 😂

📍 Stopped by at Han’s market. It’s a two stories local market with ground floor selling local snacks/ coffee/ souvenirs. The higher floor has items like clothing, tailoring of outfit, shoes and many more.

📍 Lunch at Côba Pho Bo. Ordered their Chicken Pho and Deep Fried Prawn covered with young rice crackers.

📍 Walk along Han River to have an overview of the dragon bridge during the day.

📍 Dinner at Nha Bep Xua again 😂 have to come back for their Pho 🍜

Day 5:

📍 Visited Chua Linh Ung (Lady Buddha Pagoda). We spent about 30 minutes there and headed to Marble Mountain ⛰️

📍 Marble Mountain (recommend to go when you’re on the way to Hoi An or vice versa). It’s a distance from Chua Linh Ung. You may get the entrance ticket at the booth with (options either to take an elevator up ⬆️ or hike up the stairs to reach marble mountain). Wear comfortable shoes as the floors are uneven on top and may get steep stairs to climb.

📍 Lunch at Thien Kim. Had their Chicken Rice which was good but not their Vietnamese Popiah, as the skin was a little too thick.

📍 Coffee break at Ut Tich Cafe. Their Vietnamese Coffee was good! ☕️ Would come back for it.

Overall, it was a great trip! ✨
