How Van Gogh learned to draw!

Good enough for Van Gogh! For real, this is the course that has taught some of the best artists in the world how to draw human forms. There are two versions of this book, and one is very inexpensive, and one includes a lot of copyrighted images and is super pricey! I want to say mine was about $10 and it’s amazing, I don’t feel like I’m missing out in any way. These drawings are all meant to be sketched with charcoal on 18x24 paper, but I’ve also had great luck recreating them in a regular sketchbook. I do prefer to sketch figures a little larger though, so I have room for details. I like working in an 11x14 for this type of practice. Even just doing the eyes page will transform how you see and draw eyes!
