Hey everyone!! So this month ended up being really really busy between social commitments and travel, but thankfully I found the time to read at least a few books!! Read on for more of my in depth thoughts ~

The Book Thief is a title I’ve seen and heard about for a very long time but have never encountered in my own childhood, so I decided to read it and see what I was missing out on! I liked this title a lot, I thought it provided important insight to the Holocaust and the struggles non-Nazi’s faced. One star was knocked off because there was a LOT of names/characters to remember, and it was a bit difficult to keep track at times.

Wish You Were Here had my jaw DROPPED, my eyes WET, and my heart SPEEDING! I cannot overstate how much I truly enjoyed and recommend this book. It has an insane plot twist, romance, and real-world issues. Check out my other post to learn more about this amazing title! I’ve already recruited both my mom and my mother-in-law to read this title because I loved it so much.

The Only Good Indians was an interesting spin on horror! I thought it was cool to learn more about indigenous culture as I’m engaged to an indigenous woman and moving to the rez! It was a bit hard for me to follow at times and a bit confusing, but overall I would recommend!

Finally, The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up had a lot of good information in it! I do heavily disagree with Kondo’s opinion that you must use every tip of hers to the T to successfully tidy up as well as her discouragement of keeping sentimental items, but I got a lot of good tidbits out of this title!

Have you read any of these books? Let me know down below!!
