Self Care Night Essentials

After a long day at the office or on a night I don’t go out on the weekend, I LOVE a self care night. Here are my favorite products and steps to take.

1. Dry brushing - Trust the hype on this one! Immediate results are extremely soft skin, but long term results can include improved circulation, rejuvenation, and anti-aging benefits!

2. Gua Sha - Ditch the jade or rose quartz gua sha and switch to this stainless steel. It matches my vibe and aesthetic much better and it doesn’t shatter when it slips out of your hands in the shower!

3. Eye patches - After nighttime skincare - Pixi eye patches are my hidden gem. I’ve been gatekeeping these for far too long. Instead of paying $3-15 PER PAIR?!?! you’re paying like $.80. It’s so worth it. Pro tip: keep your patches in the fridge (not freezer because they’ll stick together) to really help depuff

4. Red light therapy - If you don’t want to make the investment in the tool, start with an led bulb. While you won’t get the direct skin benefits, you’ll still help calm the body before rest. But I recommend BOTH!

5. Hair mask - Olaplex and R+Co are my tried and trues. R+Co smells SO good, but Olaplex is maybe more nutritional. I love to get my hair wet in THE shower at night and then french braid it with the mask over night to lock in all the nutrients!

6. Journaling - Do something to nourish your mind before bed and thank yourself for spending time with yourself tonight. You’re doing great🫶🏼🫶🏼
