Viral products that AREN’T worth the hype

Here’s my opinion of products or companies I’ve seen hyped on social media but I have found other products that work better for me.

First up: the Rhode Glaze

This product did give me a glow but I have found other products that give me a much better glow and also it also lasts longer. So the product does work, but I’ve found better products.

It’s also not something that is a need. If you really want that glow (and still the skin care) a facial oil will be your best friend!!

Second up: The Ordinary peptide eye serum

I usually love the Ordinary but this eye serum did nothing noticeable for me. They promised results after a month of consistent use but I really didn’t see or feel any difference even after THREE months of consistent use.

However, the Youth to the People eye cream works wonders.

Third up: Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk gloss

I really don’t understand the hype of Pillowtalk. Sure it’s a cute shade, but I honestly feel like you can find just as cute of a shade from more affordable brands. My Rhode ribbon is a lighter shade of pink but it’s still so pretty and goes on more smoothly.
