Afternoon tea never fails to give me that ✨main character energy✨ but why must they be so goddamn expensive 😩😩😩

For our anniversary, my husband found an affordable cafe that serves yummy afternoon tea so I can treat myself without going broke 💸

The moment I stepped inside the cafe, I felt like I was transported back in time. The interior is beautifully designed, with soft lighting, elegant vintage decor, and a retro car model that doubles up as a table! We were lucky enough to get that iconic seat 🏎️

The star of the show was definitely the afternoon tea set, which is carefully curated every day by the chef 👩‍🍳 Every set features a variety of classic tea-time treats, from finger sandwiches to scones and desserts.

Our set consisted of:

✧ berry scone

✧ mango cake

✧ chocolate cake

✧ carrot cake

✧ fish fillet mini burger

✧ spring roll

✧ scrambled egg mini sando

✧ teriyaki chicken mini burger

To ensure that guests get the highest quality treats, they only serve TEN sets of afternoon tea every day‼️

Needless to say, each item was beautifully presented, with attention paid to every detail. The flavors are well-balanced, with the perfect blend of sweet and savoury 🥹🥹

Their tea menu features an extensive selection of loose-leaf teas, sourced from around the world. From delicate floral blends to robust black teas, there's something to suit every taste. Beauty (Fruity Selection) tea, a fragrant berry tea that was full of anti-oxidants ☕🍓 Yum!

The attention to detail was impressive, with staff ensuring that each teapot was topped up and that guests had everything they need to enjoy their afternoon tea 🌸
