Where to get your hair transformation @ KSL? 💆🏻‍♀️

With numerous hair salons at KSL City Mall, choosing one can be overwhelming 😵‍💫 If you prefer highly-rated hair salons (above 4.8 stars), you should consider getting your hair done at Studio M KSL or LUXE Studio KSL . However, if you’re looking for budget-friendly alternatives, SOLASTA or VZ Salon are worth a try. I’ve done my hair there before and here’s my review:

1️⃣ SOLASTA Professional Salon

Recently, I had my hair dyed and received a hair treatment at Solasta. They offer a range of affordable hair service packages (3rd picture). Instead of opting for their basic hair treatment, I chose the 4-step treatment which claims to nourish, moisturize, and repair damaged bleached hair. The price for the 4-step treatment and hair dye was RM388 (~S$116). After the treatment, my hair did feel smoother, softer, and lighter, but the change was not significant. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend upgrading to the 4-step treatment 🫤; the basic treatment should suffice. They provided two options for hair dye: chemical or ammonia-free. Upgrading to ammonia-free would cost an additional RM80, but they offered it to me for RM60. Since I was hesitant to upgrade, SOLASTA offered me free scalp protection 🤭

In total, I paid RM448 (~S$134) for ammonia-free hair dye, scalp protection and 4-step hair treatment which was very reasonable. If I were to get the same services in Singapore, it would easily exceed S$300💀 In addition, the staff there are very nice and friendly.

2️⃣ VZ Hair Salon

Despite its relatively low rating, VZ Hair Salon is a decent hair salon that is worth a try. I had my hair dyed, and cut and received a basic hair treatment there for about S$70. Upon reviewing their price menu, I found their hair services to be remarkably affordable. So if you’re tight on a budget, VZ is definitely worth a try 👍🏻
