how to take care of your nipple piercing! ☾⋆⁺₊🎧✧

DONT:

1. make your own salt water soak at home. (you have no way to guarantee the concentration of salt, too much will irritate your piercing) no ointments, creams, alcohol, peroxide, etc.

2. touch or rotate your jewelry! there is no need to move it while it’s healing.

3. pick at/remove any crusties, let them wash off on their own.

DO:

1. clean them before you go to bed every single night. you can use disposable nursing pads to cushion them and protect your bra from any blood or lymph fluid. you’ll want to wear a soft sports bra at night to protect them.

2. always always ALWAYS wash your hands before you get near them, you change bras, or spraying/drying them.

3. at the end of your showers, just stand there and lets the warm water run down over, but not directly on, the piercings to throughly rinse. be careful drying yourself!

4. MOST IMPORTANTLY, get rid of any mesh bath loofahs! snagging piercings is EXTREMELY painful, and you don’t want to unnecessarily traumatize them. (more than you already have)
