Why I prefer digital games on the Switch.

I absolutely I love physical media, whether it’s cds, dvds or video games. I will always be a huge advocate for people having their own physical media collection. However when it comes to games specifically for the Nintendo Switch I prefer digital games over physical ones. 2 main reasons why:

Cost: Switch games are notoriously expensive. Digitals copies however, are more likely to go on sale at a nice discount through avenues like the Nintendo e-shop. The e-shop even gives points with each purchase that can be used for discounts off your next game, which ultimately helps you save some money in the long run.

Travel & Storage: Digital copies don’t take up physical space and are better for travel. I personally love having my switch games all in one place and not having to worry about swapping out game cards/disks.
