Bedroom Rug Recommendations

I'm a firm believer that EVERY bedroom needs a rug (yes, even if you have carpet.) Your rug will set the tone for your whole bedroom and is a great opportunity to bring in some personality too.

Depending on the size of your room, your rug should be an 8x10 or larger. Using a rug that's too small will make a room feel smaller and not as cohesive.

I prefer 9x12 rugs, and you can find sales almost year round (Memorial Day, Black Friday, Summer Sales, etc.)

My top places to get rugs are Rugs USA, LoLoi, local auctions and stores like Home Goods, and other shops like Boutique Rugs, Well Woven Rugs, or Balta Rugs.

The hardest part about a bedroom rug is actually putting it under the bed. For us, it takes two people and 20 minutes of moving the bed and rearranging, but the end result is always worth it!
