MOMENTO MORI & AMORI FATI:

This is my most meaningful tattoo as it’s my life’s motto. It comes from stoic philosophy (which is my favorite school of thought). AMOR FATI- A love for fate (fully embracing and living what is out of control). This has helped me remember to be mindful, show gratitude, and move on in times of stress or grief. MOMENTO MORI- You are mortal and death is inevitable. This phrase gives Stoicism the label of being thee pessimists of Philosophy. Even though this statement may seem harsh it actually means to be grateful and mindful of the time that we do have.

“You could leave life right now, let that determine what you do and say and think” Marcus Arelious. This has helped me gain various perspective and put things back into place as well as helping me make the most out of the time that I do have.

TEACH PEACE:

This tattoo is my first tattoo because it was the first design I knew I wanted to have on my body. To me teach peace symbolizes kindness and understanding to those similar and different than us. To help work with future generations in order to achieve more peace in the world. As well as the child development side in which it is important to be the best remodels we can be for our younger generations.

333: 333 is one of the most spiritual numbers in creation. In a traditional sense it can represent a Godhead as well as divisible into multiple other spiritual numbers such as 666 and 999. It is a number associated with deep spiritual connection as well as growth and moving onto new chapters in one’s life. This is a very special number to me. As for the placement of the tattoo it is in honor of my younger sister who has wanted 444 on her forearm and has me draw it on her constantly.
