Fail Interview Kerja 5 Kali & Here’s Why 😣

I want to share some tips to avoid getting rejected during interviews! For context, I am a fresh graduate looking for full-time jobs for the first time in my life so I still have a lot to learn myself.

1️⃣ You don’t “brag” about yourself

Each question is a chance to mention your skills, past accomplishments, admirable personality traits/characters and your values! Don’t babble away about anything else but yourself!

2️⃣ Your vision doesn’t align with the company

This one seems simple, but actually can be a big reason you get rejected. Last time I was rejected and it was because I said I wanted to do less physical work and more thinking/brainstorming. Turns out the company values physical work and wanted to hire physically fit person.

3️⃣ You can’t recall what you learn in uni

For this, it’s better to review the list of all subjects you take (aka school record). Identify your favorite subjects and subjects you’re weak at. State how you’re going to overcome the obstacles. This way you can appeal to the company as someone with flaws but is always trying to improve.
