A Day with Me: Ohara Festival 🎊🇯🇵

Good morning 🍋8️⃣ residents,

It was Culture Day on the 3rd of November in Japan, which means that it was public holiday! The Japanese spent their one-day holiday by celebrating Ohara Matsuri. In Minamikyushu it’s called Ohara Matsuri but the name can differ in other places.

I participated on the dance parade during the night before the festival and the day of the festival. My team helped me to wear the dance attire which is called happa! It’s red in color and you have to pair it with black tights.

It was such a memorable experience for me, and I don’t think I could ever experience the same thrill again 🩵
