Mess-free painting for babies

I’m always doing activities, crafts and sensory set ups for my toddler. Now that my baby girl is getting bigger, she also wants to join in on the fun. So today, while my toddler was painting a Christmas tree, I put together this painting activities for her.

It’s super simple, inexpensive & mess-free, perfect for babies.

What you’ll need:

•canvas (or cardboard)

•ziploc bag

•painters tape

•paint

First, do you want to start by adding large drops of paint onto the canvas. I didn’t have a canvas, so I used a large piece of cardboard (you can use anything you have on hand really) then carefully place the canvas inside a Ziploc bag. Close it and then use painters tape to secure it down to their highchair or wherever they’re going to be painting.

Now watch your little artist, go nuts and create a masterpiece. It’s a great sensory activity too. Let me know if you try it.
