3 things to consider in a desk

There’s no right/wrong desk for your space because it’s subjective and a personal choice! 😌 However, there are things you may want to consider when making your decision. Here are 3 aspects to think about!

1) Size 📏

Size matters! How much space you need? have? want? What do you plan to have on your desk? Purchasing a desk is an investment since you’re likely using it for many years to come, so think about these things! I had space in my room to fill, and I also love having a large + open desk space to work with so I went with a large desk (55x28)

2) Color ⚪️⚫️🟤

Sets the tone for your setup. Consider not only what color/aesthetic you want to achieve, but also how different colors have different impacts on your space! White brightens up your room and deflects more light if you want an airy + clean aesthetic. Black look more industrial, but dust + dirt is more visible. It can also make your space appear smaller & dim. Wood falls in between white/black as it’s the perfect balance between a bright/dark shade, also adding a natural element to your space

3) Style 🧍🏻

Standing desk? Desk with shelves? Corner desk? L-shaped? With so many style desks to choose from, you’ll want to consider many factors such as your preference with standing/sitting, the orientation of your room, and whether you value a desk with built-in storage or not (to name a few). I chose a standing desk because I value the flexibility and switch between standing + sitting to spice things up a bit LOL
