bar soap is better than liquid body wash?

Soaps last way longer, although that might just be a me issue bcs i always accidentally pour out way to much body wash. i feel cleaner like squeaky clean when i use a bar soap. recently i’ve been using African black soap for my face and my skin has never been clearer. i get a 1lb bar for 10$ and cut it up into pieces so the whole thing doesn’t get wet and it lasts for months. and i just uses lotions and perfumes to smell good and moisturize so i’m not concerned about that aspect.
