Picking a College Major & Neurodivergence

As a person who went back for a career change, I can attest how hard it is to pick a college major, add in your neurodivergent needs and it's much trickier.

Looking back, my biggest mistake was to ignore my neurodivergent needs. Originally, I majored in social work and psychology with the goal of going into therapy. However, the social demands required was a big no for me. I felt very anxious and drained.

Going back for health research, I've tried to strike a balance between growing as a person and honoring my needs.
