I am now a few days into my second trimester in my first pregnancy! Overall I am feeling well. Now that the first one is over, I wanted to give you guys my experience on how it went and how I felt. I have my go to prenatal, my food aversions and cravings, and things I recommend to start in the first trimester in the photos. Below you can read a little more into the main symptoms I had.

1) Symptoms

- constipation! This is one of those symptoms no one likes to talk about but it can be so bothersome. I recommend if you get this really bad to actually get a fiber supplement instead of a stool softener. I started on a stool softener and then switched to a fiber supplement recommended by my OB. Worked so much better!

- fatigue. The pregnancy fatigue is real. I used to have so much energy but I found myself so slow and needing to go to bed early. Allow your body to rest as much as it needs or else you will get burnt out.

- morning sickness. It doesn’t just stick to the mornings. What I found to help was light low fiber foods like cereal and soup. Also don’t let your stomach go empty even if you don’t feel like eating. Always have a small baggie of snacks available.

- lots more. I experienced so many other symptoms like increased urination, difficulty sleeping, food aversions and cravings. I know it’s cliche but just listen to your body. Even though you feel awful, it’s a sign baby is doing good.

✨Just like every person is different, every pregnancy is different. Just because I experienced something or had success doesn’t mean it will be the same for everyone. Wishing all the new and expecting mommas congratulations and blessing over the new baby!✨ #pregnancytips #firsttrimester #newmom #expectingmommy #pregnancyjourney #baby2024
