A Cozy Winter Stay in the Catskills

Unwind and hide out from the winter chill at Eastwind Hotel - Oliverea Valley. This Scandinavian-inspired hotel is located near several Catskills hotspots, including Hunter Mountain, Phoenicia, and Woodstock. The property offers enough amenities to fill your weekend even as the temperatures decrease.

We loved staying in the spacious King Room because it felt extra intimate. The room’s entrance faces the back of the property so you have the utmost privacy. We loved winding down from the day on the hammock in the lofted space! Nightly rates are around $500 in the winter.

One of the most unique features of the property is its variety of rooms. Between the glamping-style Lushna cabins and luxurious Lushna Suites, it has something for every kind of traveler.

Some of the hotel’s incredible amenities include two Scandinavian saunas, a cozy onsite restaurant, a fire pit, and an outdoor pool (for the summer, of course). We spent our evenings cozying up by the restaurant’s fireplace with a glass of wine. It was such a romantic way to finish each day!
