WORST Doordash orders (ON CHRISTMAS)

When I got up this morning, DoorDash sent out a push notification, letting me know that I would get two dollars an hour peak pay for DoorDash during Christmas day.

Since I’m spending Christmas alone, I figured why not? Extra cash is always good. Overall, I did okay today, BUT I got sent a lot of really really bad orders today too.

Here are the worst of them!!

What to look for:

-Pay

-Mileage

-Store (sometimes)

When an order pops up on my screen, the first thing that I look at is how much I’ll be getting paid for that order and what distance I have to go in order to complete it.

Additionally, you also want to think about where your zone is and if that order is going to take you OUT of zone. The DoorDash app will NOT tell you that an order is going to take you out of zone, you just have to know where the boundaries are.

As a general rule, a lot of DoorDashers want to make at least one dollar per mile, and I strive for two dollars per mile at least. Disclaimer: I do not always hit this goal. It’s just what I shoot for. If an order is paying me less than a dollar per mile, I do not accept it.
