UR SIGN to get decent hokkien mee in the north! 🔥

I dont know about you, but when it comes to hokkien mee, i am usually on my knees 😮‍💨

Maybe it’s because I didn’t grow up in this area, but it seems quite difficult to get a lovely, hearty plate of Hokkien Mee in Woodlands/Yishun!! So imagine my utter delight when I saw this Tun Xiang Hokkien Delights at #NorthpointCity !!

According to their about, Tun Xiang “actively promotes an "affordable Iberico Pork” concept to allow everyone an opportunity to have premium food at a reasonable price.” But to be completely honest, it wasn’t the pork that caught my attention - it was the giant picture of Hokkien Mee at their shopfront that had me sprinting in for a seat 🤡

Besides Hokkien Mee, they also offer a number of other mains and side dishes, such as Signature Iberico Pork Belly Char Siew rice bowl, Iberico Pork Collar Char Siew Noodle, Iberico Prawn Roll etc.

I think it was because they just opened, but there was a special 50% off discount (!!!!) on their Hokkien Mee, so you know what exactly I chose 😀

⭐️ Hokkien Mee, $4.95 (after 50% off)

Their Hokkien Mee came with generous, chunky ingredients - thick prawns, squid, and a lot of fried lard. I especially appreciated the thick gravy that coated each noodle strand!! However, the portion seemed a tad small (even for a small person like me). I suppose for the discount it was #worthit but without the 50% off I’m not sure if it might be a good deal!!
