SYIP @ farrer park - worth the queue? 🤔

recently i went to SYIP (Farrer Park) on a saturday around 11ish & there was already a (virtual) queue 😭 and when we left it was PACKED outside. the space itself is pretty limited inside, so do get there early!

here's what we ordered:

🐣🥐 Creamy Chicken Scrambled Egg Croissant ($18)

this was the BESTTTT dish that we ordered imo. egg was creamy, croissant was crispy yet fluffy. sauce was very flavourful toooo!

🍓🍵 Strawberry Bergamot Matcha Foam (Iced) ($7)

my friend had this! strawberry & matcha pairing was top tier, and i think it's pretty nice

🍵Genmaicha Pistachio Foam (Iced) ($7.50)

got this bc of a review i saw on lemon8. the pistachio bits added a nice crunch, and it wasnt too sweet either!

🦐🍚 Prawn Bisque Risotto ($24)

flavour bomb, could taste the prawns in the risotto. prawns were q juicy too, but i wld say it's alright bc it can get quite cloying.

overall, i like their unique choices of drinks & but i personally think it's pretty average... would go back to try other mains though! we spent around $67 for 2 pax, which i think is a little expensive too. i visited their Luzerne outlet in the past and i feel like i would have rated that outlet more. hehe just my two cents 🤓
