Bible Journal With Me

Today the verses there were 2 things in my reading that inspired me.

“Then the Lord took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?””

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭16‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I love that! The God who sees me! Even when you’re running into the wilderness, He sees you. Even being bound, He sees you. Even when you feel hopeless and broken, used and abused, overlooked and unappreciated, He still sees you. And He hears your cry and He will show up! Just like Hagar, God heard her cries (Genesis 16:11). God sees you, right where you’re at, and He hears your cries.
