Choosing a wedding gown can be an exciting but overwhelming experience. Here are some tips to help you make the best choice:

1️⃣ Start your search early: Start looking for your wedding gown at least six months before your wedding day. This will give you enough time to find the perfect dress and make any necessary alterations.

2️⃣ Know your budget: Set a budget for your wedding gown before you start shopping. This will help you avoid falling in love with a dress that is outside of your price range. I chose The Gown Connoisseur in the end as their prices were really affordable.

3️⃣ Consider your venue: Think about the location and style of your wedding when choosing your gown. My venue was relatively smaller, so I knew I wanted a gown with a short train so it’s easier to walk around!

4️⃣ Try on different styles and choose one that flatters your body: Pick a dress that highlights your best features and complements your body type! I tried on a variety of dresses during the first fitting to see what looks best on me, before I narrowed my options to mermaid cut dresses only.

5️⃣ Bring a trusted friend or family member: Bring someone whose opinion you trust to help you make your decision. They can offer support and help you make a choice that suits you best.
