Turning 20 🤍

I recently turned 20 on the 4th of July, which makes me an Independence Day baby. I usually don't celebrate my birthday, but this year I did, and here's what I did and some of the gifts I received.

Goodwood Park High Tea Buffet @ L'Espresso ☕️

My mother treated me and my brother, who are both July babies, to a birthday high tea buffet. Each of us was entitled to one drink from a selection of premium coffee and TWG tea 🫖The buffet offered a wide selection of food, including sandwiches, laksa, roasted beef tenderloin, cheese platters, and desserts such as creme brulee, cakes, chocolate, and ice cream. We went on a weekday, and the price was about $65 per person. While the food had premium ingredients and a wide selection, I would not recommend it as I found the food too gelak after a while, especially as it leaned more towards savory dishes.

Remember to make your reservation before going, as there may only be one seating on the day.

BKK trip on the week of my birthday 🥳 :

I recently went to Bangkok with my mother during my birthday week. She was there for a business trip, and I tagged along. On my birthday, I went to explore the Siam area. It was a rewarding experience as I have always wanted to solo travel but never had the opportunity to. Started the day with a cup of coffee and explored different areas such as Siam, Platinum, Big C, and ended the day with a Thai massage🤩

I've been loving gold accessories more than silver lately, so my boyfriend got me a gold pendant.

Dior Addict Lip Glow in shade 031:

I haven't used it yet, but I will share more once I have opened it!

Philosophy Amazing Grace:

It's a set of shower gel, perfume, and lotion that smells amazing. I can't wait to use it.

So if you are not sure what to do for your birthday, this is your sign to try solo traveling! It was really fun and interesting to explore the different places, have solo meal and people watch in a different country!
