Welcome to what I used to call my tiny house with the little red door.
That’s exactly what this place was, it had the appeal of a tiny home with one shared wall and a neighbor! I loved it so much, and I miss it all the time.
It came with your backyard, fenced up and ready for your dogs to enjoy.
My boyfriend and I at the time , we’re living in Chandler, Arizona— we decided to do the move to Flagstaff, Arizona and I’ve got to say that I’m so happy that we.
it didn’t end the way I hoped but living there for a year taught me a few things.
- be grateful to live with your partner. Having someone around to do the hard things with but who is also your hot best friend feels really relieving.
I loved my partner in crime, nothing felt to hard with the both of us tackling it.
- enjoy the days you have while planning for the future.
Work is almost inevitable at this point, you can’t avoid needing money and a place to live. So you’ll probably have to work; without that being said, enjoy your days. Go outside, take that walk in the rain, sit on the grass for a couple minutes.
You’re not too busy for any of it, one day you’re gonna wish you had.
- Having a backyard is elite.
This is personal , but I am such a private person; a bit of an introvert but that doesn’t mean I don’t like being in the crowds too sometimes. It’s a bit of a mix ! Those days that I don’t feel like going out, but I still wanna spend time outside— no cares I just go to my backyard.
Its the perfect getaway.
-living by a view makes it easier to get up in the morning.
I struggled a long time with high cortisol levels and anxiety, most mornings lead into a panic attack and a bunch of stomach pains.
After moving to Flagstaff, while I was still having some panic attacks I really learned how to manage and control my body, and thoughts just by connecting with the view around me. It was easy to look at a mountain, and suddenly my problems felt small.
The trees were so tall, and comparatively, my thoughts just felt insignificant to the beauty of the world.
I always remember how fun it was living in a place that really did feel like a house. I felt like a little homeowner, but without all that stress.
Yes, it was.. but I still feel that it was perfect.
Scenery was top par and I miss the mountains. Flagstaff will forever feel like a home.
What’s your best memory of “home”.
