Need to spice up your pics? Sometimes the best option is to post a photo with your bestie! But while you may have your own poses and angles down, adding a second person to the midst can throw you off. So here are a few pose ideas you can use the next time you and your BFF want to snap a pic!

The easiest pose is one with a prop. Grab your wine glass, your martini, even your coffee and do a little cheers! Make sure that you are turned towards your friend, but have your head face the camera. If you want to add a little extra spice, I love to pop a heel a la Princess Diaries! This pose seems especially fitting since we both went with flowy daytime dresses!

Feeling a little shy? Go for a candid inspired pose and look down at your shoes! Act as if you are both adjusting your outfit (in my case a black evening gown and white heeled sandals, and in Rachel’s a Carrie Bradshaw-esque mini dress!) and having a little girls’ chat. It looks natural and relaxed and mixes up the usual smile directly at the camera pose.

If the first two felt too easy, I saved the best for last! You can do this pose sitting down, standing up, however you like! Just grab a phone and take a self with your friend while someone else (or in our case a tripod!) takes a photo of that! The best part is that you will have different angles to choose from because you actually took a selfie! This also worked out well since we didn’t coordinate our outfits — I went with a matching set from Petal and Pup and she went with a breezy summer dress!
