What are Spiritual Gifts - God gives spiritual gifts to his believers to help grow his kingdom through prophets, Apostles, Evangelists, and teachers to anyone who believes in him can be used to glorify his kingdom in the mighty name of Jesus Amen.

S- Ten commandments

Do not have other gods beside me

Do not make idols for yourself in any shape or anything in heavens or on earth, do not bow in worship to them and don't serve them for i am the Lord your God who is a jealous God , punishing the children for iniquity to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me but showing faithful love to the ones who love me and keep my commands.

Do not misuse the name of the Lord your God because Lord will not leave anyone unpunished who misuse his name

Sabbath Day - Sunday is to rest do not work - God worked for six days then rested on the seventh - declared to be holy

Do not give false testimonies

Do not covet your neighbor's house - wife , male or female ox donkey or anything else that belongs to your neighbor

Do not steal

Observe- What stood out to you about this verse ? were there any commands or instructions -

God’s Ten commandments are given to us to protect us from this world and destruction that the enemy wants to try to attack us in different parts of our life expecting us to fail.

He gives instructions to rest on the sabbath- NOT BECAUSE God needs the rest but as humans we need the rest as we all who work on the daily , the sabbath is a holy day it is commanded that we do no work on this day but we do all our work in six days because God created the heavens , and earths through the six days. For God knows as humans we work hard for the things he has given us so he has given us a day to rest and be blessed in his presence.

Covet means to hems us in, dissuading us from running after things that, on their own, disappoint, distract, or even destroy. He instead calls us to what is truly good, worthy, and satisfying: himself.

Instructions and commands -

Luke 18- 20 The religious leader asked God What should i do to inherit eternal life?

God is giving this man commandments , he says you know my commandments you shouldn't steal , not commit adultery , you must not testify falsely , honor your father , the man said he obeyed these commandments since he was a young boy but jesus replied and said to this man you haven't given up one thing and it is sell all your possessions and you will have treasure in heaven

The man replied being sad because he was rich

Jesus replied and said it is harder for a man who is rich to inherit the kingdom of God that it is easier for a camel to go through the eyes of a needle than a rich person to enter the kingdom of God

Peter said we have given up our houses

Jesus replied parents, children, wives, husbands should be blessed or repaid many times over in life and will have eternal life in the world to come.

1 corinthians 6-9-11

God talks about how the people who will not inherit the kingdom of God are the ones who indulge in sexual sin , worship idols , commit adultery, male prostitutes , practice homosexuality, thieves, greedy people , drunkards , abusive , cheat people- none will inherit the kingdom of God

For you were once like this but you called upon the Lord Jesus Christ and you were cleansed and made holy right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit ( holy ghost ) of our God.

Ephesians 4:20

He has given his people gifts it says ascended gifts to prophets, teachers, apostles, evangelists, Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church the body of christ. We must continue until all faith and knowledge of God's son that we will be mature in the Lords measuring up to the full and complete standard of christ. We will no longer be mature, we will know when people are deceptive and try to trick us with lies that sound like the truth and good. He makes us whole body fit together perfectly as each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow so that the whole part is healthy and growing full of love.,

Application-

We can apply his ten commandments to our life by using them as a guide in the life we live we are filled with people who live in sin on a daily , they don't feel convicted for their sins , they are lustful , they steal, they cheat on their partners, wives husbands, they live in darkness and they are lost in this world. As believers of Christ we use the gifts that God gives us to go out and be prophets, apostles, evangelists, and teachers to push people into the kingdom of God. We have to sacrifice things like talked about in Luke 18-20 the rich man didnt wanna give up his offerings he had on earth but he missed out on a whole bunch of blessings that Jesus promised him in his kingdom as we will die in our flesh and be eternally in the kingdom or hell, it is harder for a rich man to give up those fleshy desires and possessions because they don't feel convicted or feel guilty of their wrong doings but believers of christ who truly live by God will sacrifices things to be more like jesus and his doing, God is not a God who punishes his children but he loves us faithfully and only wants the best for us but the ones who do not follow his commands and instructions will be led to destructions and the lies of the enemy, this is sad because they will miss out on their blessings and gifts that God has given them in the kingdom of heaven but as followers of christ we must keep the commands close to our heart and allow Jesus to move in our lives and follow his righteous.

Dear Lord

I just wanna thank you for the ten commandments as they are here to guide us through life and protect us from evil , I ask that you allow the kingdom of your Godly people to use their gifts to glorify you and use it to bring people closer to you father God, I pray you remove distractions from the enemy when he tries to bring lustful thoughts and decision and assignments in our lives that are not from you and continue to guide us and give us strength and forgive us for anytimes we did do the things of our old lives but we have accepted you into our heart and changed from living in darkness to living in light, we give you glory honor and praise in jesus mighty name AMEN #godlythings #womenofGod #menofgodmakeadifferance #christianfacts
