$12 cocktails with no gst?!🤯

hello zesties! recently i went to Yen Bar (Millenia Walk) for a girls night out and can i say the drinks were so value-for-money?!! as i’m only a broke intern, i am always on a look out for affordable dine out places and activities #AdultingWoes so i searched for ‘affordable bars in sg’ and i saw a lot of posts on yen bar and hence decided to head there.

because of the ongoing promo of pasta + free cocktail (applicable for those priced at $12), me and my friend decided to settle our meal there too, i ordered tiger prawn aglio olio and it came with 4 giant prawns? the aglio olio was not bad as this was served in a bar so i did not expect much, my friend also mentioned her truffle mushroom pappardelle was not bad too! the truffle smell was pretty strong.

we paid $25 for the pasta and it came with free cocktails and hence we ordered a ginskey and tequila sunrise. the ginskey was perfect for those who do not like drinks that taste too alcoholic but the tequila sunrise was pretty strong and had a kick. the drinks look pretty nice too, there is free flow curly fries for those who ordered beer!

the current outlet at club street is closed for reno and hence this was the millenia walk outlet, the ambience was not bad and the music was vibey too. there were many people who came to hang out after work. the indoor seatings are not air conditioned and i would say can be a little warm as you’re consuming alcohol so defo opt for the outdoor seating for better ventilation!

overall, will defo head there again!
