I wanna share a book review today!

Here’s my thoughts about this book:

⚠️Trigger Warnings: Black slavery, Black injustice, racism, violence & white supremacy

THOUGHTS:

Beautifully written.

The language is comprehensible except for some sentences that I find hard to grasp, probably because of the colloquial language.

The plots are very intriguing and escalate my curiosity and suspense right from the beginning until the end.

Not to mention that it is very well arranged and I find it easy to understand even though the author shuffled back and forth between the past and the present time.

It is a vivid story.

I could picture myself in the storyline as if I’m experiencing it for real.

This is the first fiction book that I attached my soul into and I have my first crush ever on a fictional character!

I love Kevin Franklin so much!

He’s the best man ever happened in fiction and (probably, realistically) real life.

I get to know and learn more about the Black slavery history in The States.

I really enjoy this book!
