First I need to say that I LOVE these characters and I’m sad that the Flesh and Fire series is over. I can’t wait for the next from Blood and Ash book!

If you don’t know these two series, you need to! So let me explain. There are two series, Flesh and Fire and From Blood and Ash. You can read them separate or together in a tandem read. The two series tie into one another with Flesh and Fire being chronologically first. Both are spicy and with, imo, a good plot/story.

So getting back to this book- it’s the last book in the Flesh and Fire series and for those who know this series- it is so worth the long read! It starts out pretty slow and focuses on recapping a lot of what happened in the last book (which we needed because it’s been awhile) and having Sera deal with all that she has endured throughout her life and with Kolis (I hate him). Ash and Sera’s love strenghens and there’s a lot of spicy scenes with them. If you’ve read from Blood and Ash, basically everything from what we know in that book plays out in this book BUT with details!

👍Pros: I love Sera and Ash’s story. Nyktos is so perfect. 😍

Highlight of this book for me was Sera beating the 💩 out of Veses and Attes shutting Kyn ALL THE WAY UP!! It’s the final connecting part between the two books with everything leading up to what happens to the FMC in FBAA.

🤔Cons: the book kind of was repetitive a lot and seemed to drag for the first part. I felt like there was a lot of emphasis on describing the food they ate and the details of their clothes rather than what the heck was going on in the story. Sera annoyed me some because she just wouldn’t talk to Ash and a lot could have been avoided if she just opened her mouth..👄
