I’m back with another honest review from someone who’s not trying to sell you some thing 🩵

Today’s focus is #skincare specifically …SKINFIX.

Now right off the bat this is a very expensive brand …. caught myself looking at it for a couple months trying to talk myself away from it because to be quite honest, I cannot stand spending 50, 60, 70 dollars on a single product . But in a world of high retinol users… I wanted to be a barrier repair girl. Unfortunately this was one of the top rated brands at Sephora. So here we go! An honest rating from someone who isn’t trying to sell you something

1. SKINFIX barrier repair, foaming oil cleanser-

Description: non-irritating, pH-balanced milky cleanser is clinically proven to increase hydration, smooth the look of uneven texture, and visibly reduce blotchiness and redness. It contains plumping seaweed hyaluronate blend, small particles that intensely hydrate for dewy, glass-like skin and aloe barbensis leaf juice, a humectant rich in vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, and amino acids.

Personal experience: when you use this, it is almost more like a milky substance rather than your typical oil cleanser. Very hydrating so if you are not used to hydrating cleansers, you may not feel like it leaves you very clean. Luckily, I have experience with hydrating cleansers, so that didn’t bother me. I noticed within the first week. My skin felt very soft and nourished . However, I don’t know that I personally would say that this part of the skincare regimen necessarily stood out as anything spectacular for me. I feel like I’ve gotten equally as good much cheaper hydrating cleansers.

2- SKINFIX triple lipid peptide cream-

Personal experience: this was the original product that got me interested in the line altogether. I had gotten a sample of it forever ago and immediately fell in love with how hydrated my skin felt however, the place I noticed it being the most and beneficial for me was my chest and neck. These are typically the first places that show signs of aging and all I knew is I wanted to get ahead of that curve. When I tell you nothing has made my skin feel so hydrated and plump!

3. SKINFIX Barrier Restoring Gel Cream

Personal experience: I got this because I noticed that during the summer the former moisturizer was a bit too heavy and I wanted something a little bit a little bit more than dry! I saw that this is for More oily skin types and decided to give it a try because it was a lighter moisturizer! This will be forever, my moisturizer. It makes me feel moisturized without feeling heavy. Love love love

4. SKINFIX Triple Lipid Eye Treatment

Personal experience: this is actually probably my second favorite product from the line. I just recently started getting into eye creams and this was only the second or third one i have used. it was the first eye cream eyebags go away or smooth out just to come back a couple hours later. Had a more subtle whitening affect, but I noticed that it doesn’t feel like a short term fix like others do. I actually feel like I’m doing something good for my skin long-term. I have bought this product at least four times now and will forever be a fan.

One of my favorite things about skinfix altogether is it is one of the few brands that actually focuses on repairing your skin barrier rather than exfoliating and irritating. Your skin further itself is so transparent with all clinical studies, leaving me feeling reassured that I’ve actually put something on my skin. That was incredible. As a whole, I cannot recommend this company enough. It is worth the extra money every time for me.
