Couples Poses + Tips 🌸

Me and my husband love to dress up together. There are three main components to taking photos with your significant other. 💕 I also love to incorporate this when I take photos of other people.

1. Have fun! 😊 In order to take a candid photo, you need to play around with each other. Whether that be a twirl, him picking you up, you picking him, tickling etc. Try to create movement and have fun with it! 🤍

2. Style your clothes together. No it doesn’t have to be the same exact color scheme, but having the same color scheme will definitely help make the photo look more composed. If you are not that type of person to have the same color scheme, that’s OK, but try to complement each other. You don’t wanna look like to puzzle pieces that don’t go together. 🧩

3. Be in the moment with each other. This kind of goes hand-in-hand with number one. In order to capture a picture together both of you and your significant other need to be together in the moment. Otherwise you both look like you don’t want to be there. Now there is a way to not be so close to each other and still get really nice photos. But that goes into a whole other realm of cinematic photography.
