🧳 Getting between cities in Italy could not be easier with Trenitalia! High speed and frequent trains go all around the country and even into Sicily. If you are taking the train, either book your ticket online or get one at the station - but make sure to validate it. Getting on the train without a ticket is an extra €50 and you can be fined.

💌 Consider going during shoulder season. Italy is a very beautiful country which makes it very touristic meaning it gets insanely crowded. The peak tourism seasons will be June, July and August so consider going anytime before and after then for less crowds and cooler weather

🗺️ Italy is a very old country so put your walking shoes on and leave the suitcase at home. Due to the cobblestone street and lack of accessibility (elevators, escalators etc.) I would highly recommend leaving the heels and sandals at home and opt for cute trainers. On the same note, rolling a suitcase along these streets is not only a challenge but dehumanizing.
